Xbox Showcases New Games at Tokyo Game Show

Microsoft unveiled a series of exciting new games and updates during its Tokyo Game Show broadcast. The event, held today, featured announcements from Microsoft's creative teams and its partners in Japan, across Asia, and around the world.

One of the biggest reveals was *Forza Horizon 6*, which will be set in Japan and is slated for release in 2026. The game will showcase the country's diverse landscapes, from the neon-lit cityscape of Tokyo to the serene rural and mountainous areas. The developers emphasized their commitment to authentically representing Japan's culture, including its cars, music, and fashion.

The broadcast also highlighted *007: First Light*, introducing Gemma Chan as Dr. Selina Tan, MI6's Head of Tactical Simulation. The game will feature new gameplay and introduce a new character.

*Ninja Gaiden 4* also took center stage, showcasing its training mode and the challenging Master Ninja mode, which will be available after completing the story mode.

In addition, a new story trailer was revealed for *Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection*. The original *Monster Hunter Stories* and *Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin* will be available on Xbox Series X/S on November 14, 2025.

Fans of *Hitman: World of Assassination* will be able to team up with Bruce Lee, who will appear as Agent Lee in a new mission called "The Infiltrator." The mission will take place at the Himmapan Hotel in Bangkok, where Agent Lee must infiltrate a martial arts tournament. The Infiltrator will be available from September 25 to November 20.

*Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024* received a World Update 20, adding detailed locations in Japan, including Mount Fuji, Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park, and Osaka Castle. The update is free and includes new airports and immersive missions.

Finally, *Gungrave Gore Blood Heat* was showcased, a remake of 2022's *Gungrave Gore*, featuring updated gameplay and visuals.

BNN's Perspective: The Tokyo Game Show announcements demonstrate Microsoft's continued commitment to the gaming market, particularly in Asia. The diverse lineup of games, including the highly anticipated *Forza Horizon 6* set in Japan, suggests a strategic focus on appealing to a global audience. The inclusion of Bruce Lee in *Hitman* is a clever move to attract a wider audience.
