Harry Jowsey Reflects on "Dancing With The Stars" Experience and Subsequent Fallout
Reality TV personality Harry Jowsey has shared his reflections on his experience on "Dancing With The Stars" (DWTS) and the subsequent dissolution of friendships with his fellow cast members. Speaking on the "Pod Meets World" podcast, Jowsey described his time on the show as "the best experience ever," highlighting the rewarding and amazing nature of the competition. However, he also revealed a sense of disappointment regarding the relationships he formed during his season.
Jowsey, who competed on Season 32 in 2023, explained that the demanding schedule of the show often consumed participants' lives. He alleges that after the season concluded, communication with many of his castmates dwindled. The situation was further exacerbated by the passing of his father. Jowsey stated that, with the exception of one individual, he received no communication or condolences from his former DWTS colleagues. This lack of support led him to question the authenticity of the friendships he had cultivated during the show.
Jowsey recounted an instance where he encountered a castmate at the gym, who did not offer condolences. He expressed his disappointment, stating that he would have offered support if the roles were reversed. Despite the perceived snub, Jowsey expressed a sense of acceptance, stating he was "kind of glad" to have moved on from those relationships.
During his time on DWTS, Jowsey was partnered with professional dancer Rylee Arnold, and the pair sparked romance rumors. While they remained coy about the nature of their relationship, Jowsey gifted Arnold an expensive bracelet and spent Thanksgiving with her family. Arnold, however, denied dating rumors, emphasizing the strong connection they built during the competition. She expressed hope that they would remain friends, acknowledging the geographical challenges of maintaining a relationship. It is unclear from Jowsey's recent comments whether they have remained in contact.
BNN's Perspective:
While it's understandable to feel hurt by the perceived lack of support from former colleagues, it's important to remember that people handle grief and relationships differently. The demanding nature of the entertainment industry can make maintaining close friendships challenging. It's unfortunate that Jowsey felt let down, but perhaps this experience offers a valuable lesson in discerning genuine connections.
