Aydan, 23, is the daughter of Mohamed Hadid and Terri Hatfield Dull. According to the statement, Mohamed Hadid had a "brief romance" with Dull following his divorce from Yolanda Hadid, the mother of Gigi, Bella, and Anwar. Aydan was raised in Florida and discovered her biological connection to the Hadid family after taking a genetic test following the passing of the man she knew as her father.
