Nova Arts is hosting an announcement party and fundraiser on Friday, January 30th, at 7 p.m. to unveil the lineup for their annual music festival, "The Thing in the Spring." The event will feature music, giveaways, food, and the sale of advance tickets. All proceeds will support the 2026 festival, scheduled for May 15th, 16th, and 17th. Admission is on a pay-what-you-can basis.
Also on Friday, Madame Sherris is hosting a Lip Sync Battle at 7 p.m. The competition is open to anyone over 18 and is free to enter and attend. Participants can sign up online.
For those seeking outdoor activities, the Rindge Conservation Commission is leading a Moonlight Owl Prowl hike through Tetreault Park on Saturday, January 31st, at 7 p.m. The hike is free and open to the public, with participants searching for owls.
On Sunday, February 1st, Next Stage Arts will host "Endless Butter: A Communal Feast of Poetry and Music." The event will feature performances by musicians, a storyteller, and poets. Attendees are encouraged to bring treats and enjoy tea and coffee. Admission is a suggested donation.
Finally, MAXT Makerspace will offer a block printing workshop on Monday, February 2nd. Participants will learn relief printing techniques and create greeting cards. Enrollment requires a fee.
