**Waymo Launches Program to Support New Restaurants**

Waymo, the autonomous ride-hailing service, is rolling out a new initiative designed to support the restaurant industry and enhance the dining experience for its riders. The program, developed in partnership with CARVINGBLOCK, will offer a series of perks to Waymo users at four new restaurant openings throughout the summer.

Starting Thursday, June 26th, the program will provide riders with priority reservations and special culinary surprises at participating restaurants. The initiative aims to boost the restaurant industry, which has faced challenges.

The program will feature a new restaurant each month. The first partnership is with Lucia, an Afro-Caribbean restaurant from Chef Adrian Forte and Owner Sam Jordan. In July, Waymo will collaborate with Maydan Market and restaurant, known for its live fire hearth cooking. August will see the grand reopening of Genghis Cohen, a restaurant known for its NYC-style Chinese fare. The final restaurant, opening in West Los Angeles, will be a new entrant from a New York City group, featuring Korean staples in a contemporary space.

Each restaurant will offer Waymo riders priority reservations during their opening periods, along with special takeaways to enjoy during their ride home.

Marc Rose of Genghis Cohen expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting the program's potential to encourage more diners to experience the restaurant and arrive safely.
