It also offers preferential hiring rights, new wage scales, annual pay increases, and protections like enforced 12-hour minimums, mandatory meal penalties, and rest periods. The Marvel/Disney agreement, a four-year deal ratified on Wednesday, focuses on overtime pay, minimum hours guarantees, annual wage increases, and rest periods comparable to those enjoyed by editors. It also includes meal penalties, hazard pay, and an end to at-will employment.
