She captivated audiences as the manipulative Alma Hodge on *Desperate Housewives* (2006-2007) and as the teacher Victoria MacElroy on *Young Sheldon* (2017-2020). Her film credits include a recent Independent Spirit Award nomination for her role in the 2020 dark comedy *French Exit*, where she starred alongside Michelle Pfeiffer.
