USPS Honors Barbara Bush with New Forever Stamp

The United States Postal Service (USPS) is set to release a new Forever stamp commemorating former First Lady Barbara Bush. This stamp, unveiled at a White House ceremony, honors Bush's legacy as a beloved figure in American history.

This marks the eighth time a First Lady has been honored with a U.S. postage stamp, joining iconic figures like Martha Washington and Eleanor Roosevelt.

The ceremony, hosted by current First Lady Melania Trump, included remarks from Bush's daughter, Dorothy "Doro" Bush Koch. Koch reflected on her mother's impact, highlighting her "signature white hair and pearls" and her humility. She also noted that her mother, who passed away in 2018 at the age of 92, would likely be surprised by the recognition.
