Kosinski revealed that while both actors possess natural driving talent, Cruise's penchant for pushing limits, as seen in the *Mission: Impossible* franchise, made him a riskier choice.
Cruise is renowned for performing his own death-defying stunts, including hanging from a biplane and holding his breath underwater. Kosinski and action-vehicle supervisor Graham Kelly both expressed concerns about the potential stress and danger involved in working with Cruise, who is known to "push it to the limit." Kelly noted that working with Cruise on the *Mission: Impossible* films was the "most stressful experience."
