Community Mourns the Loss of Tony D. Trubiano

Bedford resident Tony D. Trubiano has passed away at the age of 75, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Born on August 29, 1950, Trubiano was a graduate of Keene High School and later earned a bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire, where he participated in both baseball and football.

Trubiano dedicated his life to service and community involvement. Early in his career, he served as the director of the Boys and Girls Club of Pinardville, leaving a positive impact on many young lives. He later transitioned to the lumber industry, working in sales until his retirement. Even in retirement, Trubiano continued to give back, volunteering for a decade as a driver for Meals on Wheels.

Beyond his professional life, Trubiano was known for his passion for youth sports. He coached soccer, basketball, and baseball, dedicating countless hours to mentoring young athletes. His commitment extended beyond the games, as he was known for his patience, encouragement, and genuine care for the children he coached.

Trubiano was also an avid golfer and a longtime member of Intervale Country Club. However, his greatest joy was his family. He cherished spending time with his loved ones, especially attending his grandchildren's games. He is remembered for his outgoing personality, selfless nature, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Margaret "Peggy" (Kearns) Trubiano, his two sons, Michael and Patrick, and his daughter, Caitlin. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, a brother, and numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral arrangements have been announced, with calling hours scheduled for January 5, 2026, and a funeral service on January 6, 2026. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Meals on Wheels.
