Toast of the Nation 2026: A Global Celebration of Live Music

BNN is pleased to present a preview of "Toast of the Nation 2026," a New Year's Eve tradition showcasing exceptional live music performances from around the globe. This year's program promises a diverse range of musical styles and artists, offering something for every listener.

The broadcast will feature a performance by singer Nicole Zuraitis, who will be performing songs of her own and reimagined favorites. The setlist includes covers of Dolly Parton and Fleetwood Mac, as well as timeless standards.

Drummer Kassa Overall will also be featured, presenting a unique take on hip-hop classics. Overall's performance includes bold, acoustic arrangements of songs by Busta Rhymes, A Tribe Called Quest, and others.

Singer Sofia Rei will bring her blend of jazz, rock, and electronica to the program. Her performance, captured at a jazz festival, includes original compositions and traditional pieces.

The program will also highlight other live performances from 2025. These include a debut by Marcus Gilmore, a performance by Tyreek McDole, a new quartet by Amir ElSaffar, Marshall Allen and his group Ghost Horizon, Kokayi, and a performance featuring the late Jack DeJohnette.
