Universal Studios Hollywood Announces Mega Movie Summer Lineup

Universal Studios Hollywood is gearing up for its annual Mega Movie Summer, promising a summer filled with cinematic experiences for guests. The event, scheduled to run from June 13th to August 9th, will feature attractions and experiences tied to several upcoming films and popular franchises.

One of the highlights will be the studio tram tour, which will incorporate elements from Christopher Nolan's upcoming film, *The Odyssey*, set to be released in July. Guests can expect to see a ship from the epic tale and behind-the-scenes footage during their tour.

Visitors can also look forward to encounters with characters from *Minions & Monsters*, another film slated for a July release. Henry and James, characters from the film, will be greeting guests in Super Silly Fun Land, near the popular Despicable Me Minions Mayhem attraction. The Minions Cafe and Despicable Delights will also be adding new food items, including a carbonara pasta dish inspired by James.

The summer will also see the opening of the new roller coaster, Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original *Fast & Furious* film, a Street Racers dance show and DJ will be on hand. Themed food options will be available, although a specific sandwich from the film will not be.

In addition to these attractions, guests can take photos with performers dressed as Elphaba and Glinda from *Wicked*. Jaws-themed food and merchandise, including a Lobster Role and a Loungefly crossbody bag, will also be available.

Outside the park, CityWalk will also be participating in Mega Movie Summer, with memorabilia and themed food and beverages. A 34-foot-tall Trojan Horse from *The Odyssey* will be displayed in front of the AMC theater in July.
