The Format Announces 2026 Nationwide Tour
The Format, fronted by Nate Ruess, has announced a nationwide tour in 2026, their first official tour since 2007. The tour will support their upcoming third studio album, *Boycott Heaven*, set to be released in January 2026. The tour will feature special guests, including Ben Kweller, Phantom Planet, Adult Mom, Limbeck, and Piebald on select dates.
The 14-concert tour will take place across North America from late March through mid-April, with performances scheduled in various venues. The band recently played a handful of gigs in Arizona and at New York City's Beacon Theatre this fall. At the Beacon Theatre shows, The Format performed 18 songs from their back catalog, including fan favorites.
Tickets for the upcoming shows are available on platforms like Vivid Seats, with the official on-sale date for the *Boycott Heaven* Tour set for October 24th. Vivid Seats offers a buyer guarantee, ensuring safe and secure transactions.
The band has released the lead single "Holy Roller" from their upcoming album. The song was originally debuted on *The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon*.
BNN's Perspective:
The Format's reunion and upcoming tour offer a nostalgic trip for fans of the indie-pop era. While the absence of Fun. songs from the setlist may disappoint some, the band's return and new music promise a fresh experience for long-time listeners. The tour's focus on smaller venues suggests an intimate experience, which could be a welcome change for fans.
