The Expanse: Osiris Reborn Unveils Gameplay and Beta Details
During the recent Xbox Partner Preview event, developers showcased new gameplay footage for the upcoming title, *The Expanse: Osiris Reborn*. The game is slated for release in Spring 2027 and will be available on Day One through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
A closed beta for Xbox Series X/S is planned for April 22, 2026. The gameplay trailer highlighted several new features, including new weapons, abilities, and the Exploit system. Two additional companions were also introduced.
The beta will allow players to experience a full mission from the game's story. Players will return to Pinkwater 4 station with their twin on a ship taken to escape Eros. The beta will also feature a variety of choices that will impact the player's life and the lives of others.
Players can expect to use a range of weapons, including shotguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, pistols, and submachine guns. Gadgets will unlock different abilities, such as zero-gravity combat and drone swarms. The new Exploit system will provide combat opportunities for companions to eliminate groups of enemies.
BNN's Perspective: The Expanse: Osiris Reborn appears to be shaping up to be a promising addition to the sci-fi gaming landscape. The inclusion of a closed beta is a positive sign, allowing developers to gather valuable feedback and refine the game before its official launch.
