Hollywood star Ryan Gosling is set to headline the upcoming *Star Wars: Starfighter*, with a first look at the actor in costume released this week. Director Shawn Levy shared a photo on Instagram featuring Gosling alongside co-star Flynn Gray, with the Mediterranean Sea serving as the backdrop.

The film, slated for release on May 28, 2027, is a standalone story set approximately five years after the events of 2019's *Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker*.
