Amy Poehler Returns to Host *SNL* with Musical Guest Role Model

*Saturday Night Live* celebrated its 50th anniversary with a new episode featuring former cast member Amy Poehler as host and Role Model as the musical guest. The episode, which aired on October 11th, marked Poehler's third time hosting the iconic sketch comedy show.

The show opened with a cold open featuring Poehler as U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, testifying before a Senate Judiciary Committee. The sketch included a surprise appearance by Tina Fey, who portrayed Homeland Security Director Kristi Noem.
