Smartee and Dental Monitoring Partner to Streamline Orthodontic Refinements

Smartee Denti-Technology, a prominent clear aligner provider, and Dental Monitoring, a leader in AI-driven remote orthodontic monitoring, have announced a partnership aimed at simplifying and accelerating refinement workflows for orthodontists. This collaboration integrates their respective systems to reduce the need for in-office visits and intraoral scans, streamlining the process for both patients and dental professionals.

Traditionally, refining clear aligner treatments has required patients to visit their orthodontist for an intraoral scan, which is then used to generate a new treatment plan. This process often involves additional appointments and chair time. The new integration between Smartee and Dental Monitoring addresses this by allowing patients to use Dental Monitoring's app to capture an oral scan. This data is then automatically processed and made available within the Smartee platform.

Orthodontists using Smartee can now access this information directly and generate a SmartSTL file. This file combines the initial intraoral scan, the current stage file from the Smartee treatment plan, and the remote patient scan captured through the Dental Monitoring app. This eliminates the need for a new intraoral scan or an in-office visit, making the refinement process more efficient.

This new feature is currently available to Smartee doctors across the EU, Asia-Pacific, and North, Central, and South America. Doctors can access it directly through the Smartee case management system.
