Appearing on the "On Purpose" podcast, Jonas recounted the unexpected early arrival of his daughter, who was born via surrogate in January 2022. The family had been anticipating her arrival in April, but received a call indicating she would be born much sooner.

She received six blood transfusions before being cleared to go home.
