Silent Hill f Receives Update with New Difficulty and Skip Feature

Konami and developer NeoBards Entertainment have released a significant update for *Silent Hill f* across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The update, bringing the game to version 1.2, introduces new features aimed at enhancing the player experience.

The most notable addition is a new "Casual" difficulty mode. This mode aims to make the survival horror title more accessible, even easier than the existing "Story" mode. Players can select Casual mode when starting a new game or, if already playing on Story difficulty or higher, via the Game Over screen.

The update also introduces a skip feature for New Game+ runs. After solving the mural puzzle and completing the "Go through the door" objective, players will now have the option to skip directly to the scene where the protagonist awakens in the corridor of the Dark Shrine for the second time.
