Should anyones educational degree be a political issue asks Sharad Pawar

Amid continuous attacks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his educational qualification by some opposition leaders, NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Sunday asked why the educational degrees of individuals are being used as political issues in the country. "Should anyone's educational degree be a political issue in the country when we are facing unemployment, law & order, and inflation? Today, differences are being created among people in the name of religion and caste. Crops have been destroyed due to unseasonal rains in Maharashtra. Discussions are necessary on these issues," he was quoted by ANIas saying. They were opposed to showing his degree in court. Why? Those who demand to see his degree will be fined? What is happening? An illiterate or less educated PM is very dangerous for the country. This was in response to the Gujarat High Court fining him Rs 25,000 for an RTI plea on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's degrees. Earlier, Pawar had broken ranks with the Opposition and come to the defence of Gautam Adani, whose Adani Group is facing allegations of fraud and stock manipulation. Sharad Pawar ji : Should anyone's educational degree be a political issue in the country Wonder if some leader of Congress , Uddhav Sena or AAP will now again attack him & call him names / abuse him! I sincerely hope they will listen to the Gujarat HC & their own ally too! Shehzad Jai Hind (@Shehzad_Ind) April 10, 2023 Reacting to Pawar's statement, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla tweeted, "Wonder if some leader of Congress, Uddhav Sena or AAP will now again attack him & call him names / abuse him! I sincerely hope they will listen to the Gujarat HC & their own ally too!" He added, "We need to speak about the corruption degrees of people like Kejriwal & Manish Sisodia on which courts have ruled again and again."
