Cordova, Tennessee – An Ole Miss football player, identified as 18-year-old Corey Adams of New Orleans, was killed in a shooting that occurred over the weekend at a residence in Cordova, Tennessee. Authorities responded to the scene at approximately 10:15 p.m. CDT Saturday.
Upon arrival, officers stopped a vehicle transporting a male suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives later identified the victim as Adams, a freshman on the Ole Miss football team.
