SNL Writer Seeks Public's Help in Finding Missing Sister

Los Angeles, CA - Saturday Night Live writer Jimmy Fowlie is seeking the public's assistance in locating his missing sister, Christina Lynn Downer. Fowlie, known for co-writing the viral "Domingo" sketch, shared a missing persons report issued by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) on Monday, December 22nd. The report includes two images of Downer, who is 38 years old.

Fowlie expressed his concern on Instagram, stating, "My sister has been missing and we are worried that she isn't safe." He urged the public to share the information, noting that Downer may also be known by her married name. The post included the LAPD's phone number, 213-996-1800, and the case number, 25237639, for anyone with information. Downer was last seen in Los Angeles.

The LAPD's missing persons report describes Downer as having brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 1 inch tall, and weighing 120 pounds. The report indicates that Downer was last contacted in late November. The police report also states that Downer's family and friends are concerned for her safety.

Fowlie, who began writing for SNL in 2022, is also known for his work on the Netflix special "A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter" and the LGBT-themed comedy web series "Go-Go Boy Interrupted," and the Max TV series "The Other Two."

BNN's Perspective: The disappearance of any individual is a serious matter, and the public's help can be crucial in these situations. We hope that the efforts of Mr. Fowlie and the LAPD will lead to the safe return of Christina Downer.
