Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 now supports astrophotography mode
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, the folding flagship from the South Korean tech giant, has received a major software update to its professional camera app, Expert RAW. Besides improving the camera performance, the updated version (2.0.09.1) also introduces an astrophotography mode, which is already available for devices like the Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S23 series of smartphones. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 users can now download the updated Expert RAW camera app from the Galaxy Store to experience the new astrophotography feature. This feature allows users to capture photos of the sky in extremely low light situations by opening the shutter for an extended period. Moreover, it also uses AI to further improve the picture's clarity and can even detect major star constellations, which allows users to identify nearby stars. Note that the feature is now available on the primary camera app, and one needs to download the Expert RAW camera app, which can be accessed via the primary camera app. According to reports, Samsung is said to introduce this feature to more devices such as Galaxy Fold 3, Galaxy Fold 2, and even the dated Galaxy S20 series of smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is probably one of the best foldable smartphones in the world and is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Despite being a foldable device, the phone has an IPX8 rating for water resistance, and it currently runs on Android 13-based OneUI 5.1.
