PS Plus Subscribers to Receive Soulslike Title in April

PlayStation Plus subscribers are in for a treat next month, as a prominent Soulslike title is set to headline the April games lineup. According to an exclusive report, the game in question is *Lords of the Fallen*, the 2023 revival of the 2014 title. The report indicates that the game will be available starting Tuesday, April 7th, provided there are no unexpected delays.

The inclusion of *Lords of the Fallen* in the PS Plus offerings is particularly timely, given that the sequel is slated for release later this year. The game, which has been available for approximately two and a half years, is expected to provide a substantial addition to the PS Plus library.

The official announcement from PlayStation is anticipated on March 31st. In December 2025, the game received a significant update from developer CI Games, introducing a range of enhancements and new content. These included more challenging boss battles, AI improvements, a new Veteran Mode, and a new armor set. This update was well-received by the community.

CI Games is also preparing for the release of *Lords of the Fallen 2* later this year. In December, CI Games CEO Marek Tyminski made a statement on social media regarding the sequel, expressing his views on the inclusion of political agendas in gaming.

BNN's Perspective: The addition of *Lords of the Fallen* to the PS Plus lineup is a welcome move, offering subscribers a chance to experience a well-regarded Soulslike title. While the CEO's comments on the sequel are a matter of personal opinion, the focus should remain on the game itself and its potential to entertain players.
