Mount is out of contract at the end of next season and negotiations over a new deal have hit a standstill, with the 24-year-old seeking parity with Chelseas top earners.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp believes Mount would be the ideal addition and some sources close to the England star have even suggested a switch to Anfield as being highly likely.
Newcastle are now said to have joined the pursuit, according to the Mail, who also list Juventus as potential suitors from abroad.

And the 24-year-old himself has hinted that his future lies in England.

: I think playing in one of the top five leagues in the world (Serie A) is an amazing feeling for me.

Arsenal and Chelsea are two possible options for Zaha
should he run his contract down at Crystal Palace, talkSPORT understands.
The 30-year-old is set to become a free agent in the summer having rejected multiple offers to extend his stay at Selhurst Park.

Manchester City are looking to battle Chelsea
for the signing of Croatias World Cup hero Gvardiol this summer.
The Premier League champions might need to bolster their defence amid reports that Aymeric Laporte is keen on a move to Barcelona.
According to Sport, City have identified Gvardiol as the ideal replacement should Laporte make the move to the Nou Camp.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has since claimed Liverpool explored conditions of a deal in January and were rebuffed but remain interested.
