Nuggets Overpower Thunder in Overtime Thriller, Take 2-1 Series Lead
The Denver Nuggets clawed their way to a hard-fought victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3 of their Western Conference quarterfinal series, winning 113-104 in overtime. The Nuggets, fueled by a dominant overtime performance, now lead the best-of-seven series 2-1.
Jamal Murray led the charge for Denver, scoring 27 points, while Aaron Gordon contributed 22, including a crucial basket in the final minute of regulation to tie the game. Michael Porter Jr. was also instrumental, sinking 5 three-pointers and finishing with 21 points. Despite a tough shooting night from the field (8-for-25), Nikola Jokic still managed to put up 20 points and grab 16 rebounds.
