NIPSCO gas outage impacts 1,300 in Valparaiso, Westville

NIPSCO experienced an unplanned gas outage on Saturday, the utility said in a release at 6 p.m., and emergency repairs are underway to restore gas service to the 1,300 customers impacted in Westville and the eastern outskirts of Valparaiso.
