CHARLOTTE – The NASCAR community is preparing to honor the life of former driver Greg Biffle and his family at a memorial service scheduled for Friday in Charlotte. The service, open to the public and available via livestream on NASCAR platforms, will commence at 11 a.m. EST at Bojangles Coliseum.

Biffle, a celebrated figure in the sport, was among seven individuals who tragically lost their lives in a plane crash last month. Also killed were his wife, Cristina, and their children, Ryder, 5, and Emma, 14. The plane, a Cessna C550, crashed while attempting to return to the airport shortly after departing from Statesville Regional Airport. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is currently investigating the cause of the crash.

Biffle, 55, was recognized as one of NASCAR's top 75 drivers and was a Hall of Fame nominee. He enjoyed an 18-year career at the highest level of the sport.
