Ann Arbor, MI - Michigan Wolverines quarterback Jadyn Davis is set to enter the NCAA transfer portal following the 2025 season. A source confirmed the news to MLive/The Ann Arbor News, revealing that Davis, a sophomore with limited playing time, will seek opportunities elsewhere when the portal opens on January 2nd.

Davis, a former four-star recruit, arrived at Michigan in 2024. Despite being elevated to the backup quarterback position behind freshman Bryce Underwood for the upcoming 2025 season, his on-field experience has been minimal. He appeared in only one game as a freshman and did not attempt a pass. His first two pass attempts came in a loss to USC on October 11th, one of which resulted in an interception. He also saw snaps against Maryland.

Davis's departure marks the third Michigan player to announce their intention to transfer, following offensive lineman Connor Jones and wide receiver Fred Moore. Davis, originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, was a highly touted prospect out of Providence Day High School, where he showcased impressive passing statistics.

The Wolverines are currently preparing for the Citrus Bowl against Texas on December 31st. The team is without its head coach, Sherrone Moore, who was fired last week.
