McGregor to Host BKFC Docuseries for Record-Breaking Tournament

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) is set to launch a high-stakes docuseries hosted by part-owner Conor McGregor, centered around a groundbreaking tournament. The competition, dubbed "Worlds Baddest Man," boasts a staggering $25 million prize pool, marking it as the most lucrative tournament in combat sports history.

The tournament will commence in March 2026 and will feature a 32-man bracket. Fighters will compete in an open-weight format, ranging from 185 pounds to the heavyweight limit of 265 pounds. The stakes are unprecedented in bare-knuckle boxing, with the winner taking home $15 million and the runner-up receiving $1 million.

The docuseries, produced in partnership with KissFly Productions, will begin filming in May 2026. McGregor will serve as the on-screen guide and host, leading the search for the "Worlds Baddest Man." BKFC President David Feldman has confirmed McGregor's role is strictly as a host and promoter for this project.

McGregor's primary focus for his own fighting career remains a potential appearance on the UFC White House card in June 2026. He has not fought since his UFC 264 loss in 2021. While he has been linked with a boxing crossover and a BKFC debut, he still has two fights left on his UFC contract.

BNN's Perspective:

The BKFC's ambitious venture, with McGregor at the helm, is certainly a bold move. The massive prize pool and the docuseries format could attract significant attention to bare-knuckle boxing. However, the success of this project hinges on the quality of the fighters and the ability to generate sustained interest. While the potential for entertainment is high, the long lead time and McGregor's dual role raise questions about the project's ultimate impact.
