Jennifer Aniston's Home Targeted: Man Charged with Stalking and Vandalism

A Mississippi man, Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, is facing serious charges after allegedly crashing his vehicle through the front gate of Jennifer Aniston's Bel-Air home on Monday. The Los Angeles County District Attorney, Nathan J. Hochman, has charged Carwyle with felony stalking and felony vandalism, along with an aggravating circumstance of the threat of great bodily harm.

According to the District Attorney's office, Carwyle is accused of repeatedly harassing the Emmy-winning actress between March 1, 2023, and May 5, 2024. This alleged harassment included sending unwanted social media messages, voicemails, and emails. The situation escalated on Monday when Carwyle reportedly drove his vehicle through Aniston's gate, causing significant damage. He was apprehended by her security guard until police arrived.

Prosecutors are seeking a statutory bail of $150,000 for Carwyle, whose arraignment is scheduled for Thursday. If convicted, he could face up to three years in state prison. District Attorney Hochman emphasized the seriousness of stalking, highlighting its potential to escalate into dangerous and violent behavior. He also praised law enforcement and the Stalking and Threat Assessment Team for their work in the case, underscoring the commitment to holding those who terrorize others accountable. Jennifer Aniston, known for her roles in the hit TV show *Friends* and movies like *Murder Mystery* and *The Morning Show*, was not harmed.
