Lola to get worrying health news

EastEnders' Lola Pearce-Brown will get worrying news about her health in upcoming scenes, as her marriage to Jay threatens to crumble.
Jay and Lexi become worried when Lola zones out at the start of the week, but she refuses to get checked out.
Instead, Lola pours all her energy into a brain tumour awareness fundraiser, until she zones out again.
Panicked, Jay insists they go to the hospital and later tries to convince Lola to get a counsellor for Lexi, who is struggling to cope.
Lola dismisses Jay's concerns determined to support her daughter herself. Jay does manage to convince Lola otherwise, but is frustrated when her mum Emma arrives and undoes all his hard work.
Emma reveals that shes come to see how Lola is because worried Lexi called her.

Lola is concerned that Emma secretly gave Lexi her number and encouraged her to lie.
She eventually decides to let this go, but infuriates Jay by cancelling the counsellor they had arranged for Lexi, following Emma's opinions.
Jay and Emma are soon clashing over their different approaches to Lolas situation. Emma thinks Jay should stop being so overprotective, but he remains adamant Lola shouldn't be doing too much.

Jay is later encouraged to join Ben and Callum on a night out, while Emma accompanies Lola to the hospital.
Lola gets worrying news from the doctor at the hospital, but urges Emma not to fetch Jay afterwards.
Emma ignores Lola's request and goes to find Jay anyway, but jumps to the wrong conclusions when she sees him chatting to a girl called Shanti.

In actual fact, Jay is actually telling Shanti how much he loves Lola, but Emma assumes the worst and reports this back to Lola.
Jay is stunned to arrive home to a furious Lola who tells him that Emma saw him in the club and he needs to leave immediately.
A heartbroken Jay cant believe Lola thinks hes capable of cheating and is further horrified to hear shes having an MRI that he didnt know about.

Honey convinces Jay to go to the hospital to support his wife regardless, and she tags along as well in a bid to distract overbearing Emma.
Lola finally agrees to speak to her husband while they wait and they share a deep and painful conversation about whats happening.
At the same time, Honey tries to dig deeper with Emma to find out why shes being so controlling, but will she get anywhere?
