T20 World Cup 2026: Qualification Update

The field for the 2026 T20 World Cup is beginning to take shape, with 17 teams already securing their spots in the tournament. The qualification process has seen teams from various regions battling for a place on the global stage.

Eight teams automatically qualified based on their performance in the Super 10 stage of the 2024 T20 World Cup. These include India, Afghanistan, the USA, Bangladesh, Australia, England, South Africa, and the West Indies. The Asia-EAP qualifying process is currently underway, with the final three teams expected to be determined within the next few months.
