LEGO Zelda: Ocarina of Time Set Leaks, Set to Launch in March
A new LEGO set based on *The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time* has been revealed online, offering fans a glimpse of the upcoming "Final Battle" set. The set, slated for release on March 1st, will feature Link and Zelda facing off against Ganon.
The set will consist of 1,003 pieces and is expected to retail for $129.99. The price point has sparked some discussion among fans.
The design includes the flaming rooftops of Hyrule Castle, the setting for the final boss fight in the classic N64 video game. The set will feature minifigures of Link, Zelda, and a human form of Ganondorf. Additional accessories include recovery hearts, Navi, and the Megaton Hammer.
This marks LEGO's second venture into the *Zelda* franchise, following the release of a Great Deku Tree set in September 2024. The Deku Tree set included versions of the tree from both *Ocarina of Time* and *Breath of the Wild*, along with Link and Zelda minifigures.
LEGO recently unveiled its initial wave of Pokémon toys, which have received a mixed reception. While some designs, like the angular Pikachu and Pokeball, have drawn criticism, other sets have been praised.
BNN's Perspective:
The new LEGO Zelda set appears to be a welcome addition to the franchise. While the price may be a concern for some, the set's design and inclusion of iconic characters and elements from *Ocarina of Time* are likely to resonate with fans. LEGO's continued expansion into popular gaming franchises demonstrates a smart strategy to engage a broader audience.
