Justin Bieber Speaks Out on Diddy Controversy, Denies Involvement

In a recent statement, Justin Bieber's representatives have addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding Sean "Diddy" Combs, who is currently facing a sex trafficking trial. The statement firmly denies any involvement of the pop star as a victim of the alleged abuse.

Combs, 55, was arrested last September on charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges. The trial has sparked intense online speculation, particularly concerning Combs' past relationship with Bieber, who he befriended when the "Baby" singer was a teenager.

Bieber's representatives emphasized that while Justin was never a victim, focusing on him distracts from the real victims of Combs' alleged actions. "Although Justin is not among Sean Combs' victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him," a spokesperson stated. "Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve."

The pair's relationship dates back to the late 2000s, with Combs, then known as Puff Daddy, discussing their friendship on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2011. A 2009 YouTube video shows Combs showing Bieber a Lamborghini and hinting at exclusive activities. The Daily Mail reported in October 2024 that some sources close to Bieber were not happy with the relationship. However, multiple sources close to Bieber have since moved to quell speculation, confirming that Combs never sexually or otherwise abused the singer.

This statement from Bieber's camp aims to clarify his position and redirect attention to the actual victims of the alleged crimes as the legal proceedings against Diddy continue.
