The ideal candidate will possess operational knowledge and experience with various broadcast systems, including Ross Overdrive Automation, Vinten Robotics, Xpression graphics, and Dalet systems. They should also demonstrate a strong understanding of newscast structure, hands-on experience in a computer-assisted environment, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Exceptional organizational skills, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills are also essential. The candidate should be proactive in seeking solutions independently.

Key responsibilities include directing daily newscasts, collaborating with producers, anchors, reporters, and production/engineering staff, and potentially performing stage manager duties. A Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field is preferred. The position requires a minimum of five years of experience in television production.

The hiring range for this Director's Guild of America Agreement role is between $126,464 and $156,754 per year, with the actual salary potentially varying based on factors such as experience and location. The position may also include additional compensation for overtime and early morning/overnight shifts, along with select benefits.
