Jimmy Kimmel Returns to Brooklyn for Week of Shows
Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is set to bring his ABC show, *Jimmy Kimmel Live!*, back to Brooklyn for a week of tapings this fall. The show will broadcast from the Brooklyn Academy of Music's Howard Gilman Opera House, with five shows scheduled from September 29th to October 3rd.
This marks the seventh time Kimmel's show has traveled to Brooklyn to broadcast from BAM. One confirmed guest for the week is fellow late-night host Stephen Colbert, who is preparing for his final season of *The Late Show with Stephen Colbert* following its cancellation earlier this summer. More guests will be announced at a later date.
The show, which has been on air for 22 years, typically broadcasts from the El Capitan Entertainment Centre on Hollywood Boulevard. *Jimmy Kimmel Live!* is produced by 12:05 AM Productions, LLC, in association with KIMMELOT and 20th Television. The executive producers include Kimmel himself, along with Erin Irwin, Molly McNearney, Jennifer Sharron, and David Craig. Douglas DeLuca serves as co-executive producer.
Kimmel's previous Brooklyn appearances have featured a diverse range of guests, including Cardi B, Eminem, Jason Bateman, Jon Stewart, and many more.
BNN's Perspective:
The return of *Jimmy Kimmel Live!* to Brooklyn is a welcome event for fans of late-night television. The show's ability to attract high-profile guests and its history of successful broadcasts from Brooklyn suggest a week of entertaining shows ahead. The inclusion of Stephen Colbert adds an extra layer of interest, given the recent news about his show.
