Jessica Simpson Releases New Single, Announces EP and Performances
Singer Jessica Simpson has unveiled a new single, "Hopeless Romance," a reflective country-tinged ballad co-written with Chris Isaak, JD McPherson, and Teresa LaBarbera, and produced by McPherson. The song, which explores themes of love and vulnerability, is the latest release from Simpson.
"Hopeless Romance" follows her recent single, "Fade," and both tracks will be featured on her upcoming EP, "Nashville Canyon: Part 2," scheduled for release on September 5th. This EP is a follow-up to "Nashville Canyon: Part 1," which marked her first original music since 2008. Simpson has expressed her intention to channel her emotions into her music, focusing on honesty and authenticity.
In support of the new EP, Simpson is set to perform at the Grand Ole Opry on September 9th. She will also hold an exclusive concert at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on November 8th.
