Jennifer Aniston Stalker Crashes Car into Home, Faces Felony Charges

A Mississippi man, Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, has been charged with felony stalking and felony vandalism after allegedly stalking actress Jennifer Aniston for over two years. The situation escalated dramatically this week when Carwyle crashed his car through the gate of Aniston's Bel-Air home while she was present.

According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office, Carwyle, 48, faces up to three years in prison if convicted. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon when Carwyle drove his car into the gate of Aniston's property. He was subsequently held at gunpoint by a private security guard until the Los Angeles Police Department arrived and arrested him. Carwyle sustained minor injuries in the crash.

Prosecutors allege that Carwyle has been harassing the "Friends" star since March 2023, sending her unwanted messages via social media, voicemail, and email. In addition to the felony charges, Carwyle faces an aggravating circumstance of the threat of great bodily harm. The District Attorney's office intends to request bail be set at $150,000. District Attorney Nathan Hochman emphasized the seriousness of stalking, stating that it can quickly escalate into dangerous and violent actions.

Aniston's Bel-Air home, a midcentury mansion purchased in 2012 for nearly $21 million, sits on a 3.4-acre lot with stunning views. The property includes a guesthouse, swimming pool, and vineyards. The case highlights the ongoing issue of celebrity stalking and the importance of protecting individuals from harassment and potential harm.
