Veteran journalist Deborah Norville will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 Daytime Emmy Awards, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced on Monday. The ceremony is scheduled for October 17th.

Norville, a Daytime Emmy Award nominee and two-time News & Documentary Emmy Award winner, is recognized for her extensive career in television news. She is best known for her three decades as the anchor of *Inside Edition*, a role that makes her the longest-serving female anchor in American television history. Her final episode of *Inside Edition* aired on May 21st of this year.

Prior to her tenure at *Inside Edition*, Norville held various positions at CBS News. Her career also includes hosting *Today* on NBC, anchoring *NBC News at Sunrise*, and hosting *Deborah Norville Tonight* on MSNBC and *The Deborah Norville Show* on the ABC Talk Radio Network. This fall, she is set to return to television as the host of *The Perfect Line*, a syndicated game show from CBS Media Ventures.
