Doctors say usually your urine would not have any bilirubin, but its presence may be an early sign of a liver condition. Since it is formed by the body during the normal process of breaking down red blood cells, it does not reach the intestines, and a person's stool colour may be lighter or oilier.
Unintentional weight loss
If you suffer from bile duct cancer, you will suffer from immense loss of appetite and resulting weight loss. Many people also experience nausea or vomiting while going through bile duct cancer.
Health experts say the loss of appetite also causes muscle loss and increased risk of malnutrition working like a domino effect because it causes fatigue and tiredness.
Later stages of this cancer also cause severe stomach pains due to the presence of a tumour, especially on the right side below the ribs.
Vomiting
Even though it is not a common symptom of bile duct cancer, it occurs in people who develop an infection, known as cholangitis, as a result of a blockage in the bile duct.
The doctors say that vomiting is usually accompanied by fever.

Itching
Bile duct cancer may lead to constant scratching and itching, sometimes violently resulting in injury marks on your skin. According to health experts, constant and severe itching can lead to sleep deprivation, and in some patients, to suicidal ideations.
Doctors say itching mostly happens because of excessive bilirubin levels in the skin.
According to a study published in the journal HHS Public Access, in contrast to conditions like urticaria, in which histamines primarily drives the itch, the one that happens in bile duct cancer is extremely difficult to treat. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7825249/
