How to Conquer Vaporizers in ARC Raiders

The Flashpoint update to ARC Raiders introduces a new aerial enemy known as the Vaporizer, a formidable foe that demands strategic combat. This guide outlines the key tactics needed to defeat these airborne threats.

The core strategy revolves around utilizing cover. Players should prioritize finding hard cover to protect themselves from the Vaporizer's primary weapon: a powerful laser. This laser can quickly deplete shields and health, and it also ignites the ground it hits. Therefore, open spaces are to be avoided.

The recommended combat loop involves shooting the Vaporizer, taking cover to avoid its laser, peeking out to return fire, and then repositioning when the Vaporizer activates its shield. This shield, similar to that of the Matriarch, is impenetrable, providing a brief window to heal and recharge.

Targeting the Vaporizer's thrusters is crucial. Destroying these will cause the enemy to crash to the ground. If thrusters are inaccessible, aim for the side armor to expose the vulnerable innards.

Weapon selection is also important. Heavy ammo weapons, such as the Anvil, are effective. The Renegade, with its high rate of fire, is also a viable option.
