Tips for a healthy weight loss
A few tips you can follow by combining several factors include:
Nutrition and a healthy diet
Doctors recommend avoiding crash diets or drastic calorie restrictions as your body needs the energy and nutrients from healthy food to recover after pregnancy and childbirth. So, for sustainable weight loss, focus on reducing portion sizes, avoiding sugary and salty meals and snacks, and following a healthy diet.
Exercise
Exercise, when coupled with a healthy diet, can help you get back into shape. Contact a fitness expert to help you get back into shape, as exercise also helps boost energy levels, reduce stress and improve your mood.
Ask for help
It is important to take care of physical and mental health post-partum and if you are struggling, contact a healthcare provider who can guide you. When you want to go for a run or take a class at the gym, for example, have your partner, a babysitter, or a family member watch your baby so that you can enjoy it as well.
