Amazon has announced that Sophie Turner, known for her role in *Game of Thrones*, will take on the iconic role of Lara Croft in a new live-action TV series based on the *Tomb Raider* video game franchise. The series, developed in collaboration with game developer Crystal Dynamics, will be helmed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the creator and star of *Fleabag*, who will re-imagine the adventurous character for the small screen.
