Fullerton Football Advances in Playoffs After Dramatic Win

Fullerton High School's football team has secured a significant victory, advancing to the second round of the CIF-SS Division 8 playoffs. The Indians, who endured a winless season last year, defeated La Quinta with a final score of 38-21. This marks a remarkable turnaround for the team, now boasting a 9-2 record.

The game saw a strong offensive performance from Fullerton, utilizing a balanced attack with three running backs contributing to the scoring. The team scored two touchdowns on the ground and three through the air. A standout player, Evan Tellez-Soria, played a pivotal role, scoring two rushing touchdowns, including a 37-yard run early in the game, and contributing defensively with an interception and fumble recovery.
