Five summerdrink recipes to beat the heat
Ground cumin, roasted 3/4 tsp
Grated jaggery 50 g
Ginger salt (gourmet flavoured salt), grated 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 3-4 tbsp
A pinch of chilli powder (Kashmiri mirch)
Garam masala 1/2 tsp
Water 1/2 litre
Method
For the Jaljeera, add all the ingredients in a food processor and blend it together. Chill overnight. Then strain and freeze it. Garnish the drink with some Boondis and serve.
