San Diego, CA - Former Poway City Councilman Tony Blain has pleaded not guilty to a series of criminal charges, including perjury and soliciting bribes. The charges stem from allegations of misconduct during his time representing the city's 2nd Council District. Blain resigned from his position on November 5th, one day after a special election indicated voters overwhelmingly supported his recall.

The San Diego County District Attorney's Office filed five criminal charges against Blain last October.
