Brunswick Area Gears Up for Spring with Events and Celebrations
Brunswick, Ohio, is buzzing with activity as the community prepares for spring. St. Ambrose Parish is hosting a Bunny Breakfast on March 15, offering families a pancake breakfast, Easter crafts, and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Tickets are available for purchase online.
In other news, a Brunswick High School graduate and journalist, Mark Puente, is part of a team of reporters from The Marshall Project that has been named a semifinalist for the 2026 Goldsmith Prize for Investigative Reporting. The team's nomination is for their work exposing deaths in custody.
The Northern Medina County Chamber Alliance is celebrating its 10th anniversary on March 26, marking a decade of business advocacy and community connection. The Brunswick Recreation Center is offering spring swimming lessons starting March 21, and annual memberships will be on sale May 1-15.
The Brunswick Area Historical Society is hosting several events, including a trip along the Interurban electric train route and a model train display. Additionally, Hope Church will host a Messianic Seder dinner on March 25.
Brunswick High School students have also been recognized for their writing achievements in the Optimist Club Essay Contest.
