Devin Harjes, a talented actor known for his roles in popular television series like "Boardwalk Empire," "Daredevil," and "Gotham," has tragically passed away at the age of 41. The actor died on Tuesday, May 27th, at Mount Sinai West hospital in New York City following a battle with cancer, according to reports.

Harjes, who was diagnosed with the illness in February, leaves behind a legacy of diverse performances across film and television. He made his television debut in 2011 with a role in "Boardwalk Empire," where he played Jack Dempsey. He later appeared in "Gotham" as Clyde and "Daredevil" as Oscar. His acting credits also include appearances in "Blue Bloods," "Orange Is the New Black," "Elementary," and "FBI."

Beyond his television work, Harjes showcased his talent in several films, including "Boyz of Summer," for which he received an Honorable Mention for Best Supporting Actor, and "The Forest Is Red," earning him Best Actor at the Tolentino International Film Festival in Italy. Most recently, he had a recurring role as Pete Baylor in the NBC series "Manifest."

Harjes's passion extended beyond acting. His obituary noted his dedication to martial arts and his love for the gym. He is survived by his parents, sister, nieces, former wife, and other relatives. The family has requested donations to TKC Blessings in lieu of flowers, with proceeds supporting scholarships for children pursuing the arts.
