Commanders Bolster Roster with Undrafted Free Agent Signings

The Commanders are adding depth to their roster following the recent draft, focusing on competition and potential hidden gems. After selecting linebacker Sonny Styles in the first round and wide receiver Antonio Williams in the second, the team primarily focused on later-round picks. Now, the organization has signed nine undrafted free agents (UDFAs) to further strengthen their team.

Among the new additions are wide receivers Jaden Bradley and Chris Hilton, offensive lineman Tanoa Togiai, defensive tackle Jeffrey MBa, safety Malik Spencer, running back Robert Henry, tight end Quentin Moore, cornerback Fred Davis, and kicker Drew Stevens.

Tight end Quentin Moore secured a notable deal, receiving a $20,000 signing bonus and a guaranteed base salary of $250,000. Despite the financial commitment, Moore faces competition for a roster spot. Offensive lineman Tanoa Togiai also received a favorable contract, with a $15,000 signing bonus and $125,000 of his salary guaranteed. Togiai's experience includes starting 13 games at left guard and earning All-Big 12 honors.

The addition of kicker Drew Stevens is also noteworthy. Stevens, who played for Iowa, earned All-Big Ten honors throughout his college career. He boasts an impressive track record, converting 80% of his field goal attempts and nearly 98.4% of his extra point attempts. The team currently has Jake Moody listed as the starting kicker.

These UDFA signings provide the Commanders with additional options as they prepare for the upcoming season. The team will be looking to see which of these players can make the final roster and contribute to the team's success.
